Where it Goes

The financial gifts entrusted to our church are stewarded in fiscally responsible ways that honor God and utilize our resources efficiently.

GENERAL FUND - SPREADING THE KINGDOM OF JESUS

Contributions without designations are included in the General Fund of the church. General Fund contributions are utilized for Building, Ministry, Operations, Missional and Payroll needs.  Ministry programs allow our church to reach people for Christ and transform their lives.  This fund does not include specific Mission or Campaign designation giving (e.g. Generous Faith Promise).

MISSIONS - REACHING BEYOND OUR CHURCH WALLS

As a church, we want to practice the act of generosity and give outside of our walls to reach our communities, country and world.  Our goal is to allocate 10% of our giving each year to fund missions outside of our network.  Click HERE to learn about the mission organizations outside of our church we are supporting.

BENEVOLENCE -  REACHING THE NEEDS IN OUR CHURCH

The Benevolence Fund is a designated giving fund to assist those in need within our church.  To give to this fund, include Benevolence on the check memo line or select this designation online.

GENEROUS FAITH CAMPAIGN - EXPANDING OUR CHURCH

Starting in 2014, the Aspen Grover Network initiated a building campaign called the Generous Faith Promise which is raising funds for future building projects.  To support this campaign, include Generous Faith on the check memo line or select this designation online.

STUDENT MINISTRY MEALS - SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH

Each Wednesday night during the school year, Woodridge has student ministry programs for kids ages K – 12.   The program includes dinners where we feed 200 – 250 students, children and volunteers.  To give money to help pay for the meals, include Student Ministry Meals on your check memo line.

THE SHERIDAN STORY - FEED A CHILD,  FEED THE MIND

Every October we raise funds for weekend food packs for school age children.  Woodridge raises half the funds for Sheridan School, all of Westonka Schools, and several Wayzata district schools.  The cost per year for a student is $130.  Please consider making a special contribution to help students in need.  Include Sheridan Story on the memo of your check.
